Buying real estate is more than an investment. It is a decision for a new chapter in life, for security, for the future. Our story – How it all began

In 2021, I, Martina Ernst, spent six months working in Croatia – on the island of Brač.

It didn't take me long to fall in love with this country. The warmth of the people, the landscape, the sea, the food, and the culture deeply impressed me. A business trip turned into a personal vision: to live here one day.

But life first took me back to Germany, and later to Bavaria. There my career progressed and I met my future husband. Together we worked successfully in the insurance industry – I as an insurance agent, my husband as an agency manager.

In parallel, we built a successful Airbnb model together. It quickly became clear to us that real estate is more than just an investment. It creates space, security, and quality of life.

After food and drink, a roof over one's head is one of the most basic human needs. We saw potential in that not only in Germany, but also in Croatia.

When we talked about our future and shared dreams, we kept coming back to Croatia. We began exploring opportunities to become entrepreneurs in the real estate sector there.

That's how we came across Rebecca-croatia.com, which at the time was run by Kasandra Felicija Christensen. After a few conversations, it quickly became clear that our values and visions aligned perfectly. Although Kasandra, for personal reasons, wanted to focus more on her projects in her home country of Denmark, she wanted to ensure that her company would continue to thrive and be in good hands.

That led to the acquisition – not by chance, but through a shared vision and mutual trust.

Continuity and new momentum

Kasandra Felicija Christensen remains part of our team as an experienced real estate agent and consultant. Her market knowledge and network of contacts are an important asset to our company.

With the launch of the new company in March, I will take over management. My goal is to build on the existing quality and place an even stronger focus on structured processes, transparent communication, and long-term client relationships.
